Comma Separated Values (CSV) is a text file format that you can use to exchange data from a database or a spreadsheet between applications. Each line in a Text CSV file represents a record in the database, or a row in a spreadsheet. Each field in a database record or cell in a spreadsheet row is usually separated by a comma. However, you can use other characters to delimit a field, such as a tabulator character.
コンマ区切り値 (CSV) とは、アプリケーション間でデータベースや表計算ドキュメントのデータをやり取りするためのテキスト形式です。テキスト CSV ファイルの各行は、データベースのレコード、または表計算ドキュメントの行を表します。データベースレコードのフィールドまたは表計算ドキュメントの各セルは、コンマで区切られます。ただし、タブ記号などを使用してフィールドを区切ることができます。(par_idN10880.)

If the field or cell contains a comma, the field or cell must be enclosed by single quotes (') or double quotes (").

To Open a Text CSV File in Calc
Calc でテキスト CSV ファイルを開くには(par_idN10890.)

1. Choose File - Open.
   ファイル → 開くを選択します。(par_idN10897.)

2. Locate the CSV file that you want to open.
   開く CSV ファイルを探します。(par_idN1089F.)

   If the file has a *.csv extension, select the file.
   ファイルの拡張子が csv であれば、そのファイルを選択します。(par_idN108A2.)

   If the CSV file has another extension, select the file, and then select "Text CSV" in the File type box

3. Click Open.

   The Text Import dialog opens.

4. Specify the options to divide the text in the file into columns.
   ファイルのテキストを列に区切るオプションを選択します。(par_idN108B1.)

   You can preview the layout of the imported data at the bottom of the Text Import dialog.

   Right-click a column in the preview to set the format or to hide the column.

5. Click OK.

To Save a Sheet as a Text CSV File
シートを CSV ファイルとして保存する(par_idN108FA.)

When you export a spreadsheet to CSV format, only the data on the current sheet is saved. All other information, including formulas and formatting, is lost. 表計算ドキュメントを CSV 形式にエクスポートすると、現在のシート上のデータのみが保存されます。数式および書式設定を含むそのほかの情報はすべて失われます。(par_idN106FC.)

1. Open the Calc sheet that you want to save as a Text CSV file.

2. Choose File - Save as.
   ファイル → 名前を付けて保存を選択します。(par_idN10905.)

3. In the File name box, enter a name for the file.
   ファイル名ボックスに、ファイルの名前を入力してください。(par_idN10915.)

4. In the File type box, select "Text CSV".
   ファイルの種類ボックスで、"テキスト CSV"を選択します。(par_idN1090D.)

5. (Optional) Set the field options for the Text CSV file.
   (オプション) テキスト CSV ファイルのフィールドオプションを設定します。(par_idN107DD.)

   Select Edit filter settings.
   フィルター設定の編集を選択してください。(par_idN1091C.)

   In the Export of text files dialog, select the options that you want.
   テキストファイルのエクスポート ダイアログで、オプションを選択します。(par_idN107ED.)

   Click OK.

6. Click Save.
